This toothpaste from The Humble Co. is brought to you by dentists who care about your oral health and the environment. The toothpaste contains fluoride and works to prevent cavities, bleeding gums, bad breath, plaque build up, staining, and tooth loss.
Available in Fresh Mint for adults and Strawberry for kids, this toothpaste ticks lots of boxes. Here’s why I love it:
- Developed by dentists
- Formulated to clinically prevent cavities and protect your teeth
- Cruelty free
- Comes in Albéa Greenleaf packaging
What is Albea Greenleaf packaging I hear you shout…Greenleaf tubes are patented all-plastic laminate tubes for oral care. Albéa Greenleaf tube has successfully passed two tests set by the US-based Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) to assess recycling-readiness. The APR tests ensure that packaging such as the Greenleaf tube are compatible with HDPE bottles recycling streams and are thus ready to join an existing, efficient recycling process. They have a 34% less carbon footprint impact than regular toothpaste tubes.
So why is Humble toothpaste better for you than the regular toothpaste you’ve been using your whole life?
Well, this toothpaste doesn’t contain SLS, which can actually be an irritant and cause allergic reactions. If you suffer from mouth ulcers, SLS can aggravate these further! Being free from SLS means that this toothpaste might not foam as much as you’re used to, that doesn’t mean it’s not working though as SLS is only added to regular toothpaste for this one affect. It has no other benefits.
